Oakland’s Newest Attraction Opens on the Embarcadero Cove Waterfront
 
OAKLAND, CA –  October 13, 2006  Oakland’s newest attraction, Just Dance Ballroom, with its 10,000 sq .ft. of gleaming, custom-made cushioned U.S. maple ballroom dance floor space now graces the waterfront at Embarcadero Cove.  

“We are happy to be in this new, larger location and honored to provide an elegant entertainment venue and cultural benefit to Oakland’s economic redevelopment strategy,” said San Manh Wong, co-owner of Just Dance Ballroom.  “We hope to attract residents and visitors alike” he continued. 

Conveniently located off Oakland’s Hwy 880 @ 23rd Avenue, 2500 Embarcadero, Oakland, CA, JUST DANCE BALLROOM is a stunning new state-of-the-art ballroom dance facility by night, with an impressive lineup of champion dance instructors who offer various levels of dance instruction in both group and private lesson settings to accommodate beginners, social and professional competition dancers.    By day, the facility is available to rent as an “alternative space” for rehearsals, practice time or special occasions for professional team cheerleaders, dance clubs, yoga instruction, Jazz / aerobic classes, theater groups, or other activities. 

“Anyone that needs to rehearse or practice on a professional dance floor surrounded by wall-to-wall mirrors can rent any one of the 3 ballrooms we have—large, medium or small--according to their needs,” said Paul Yee, San’s business partner, “and there is plenty of free parking, too!”

The new JUST DANCE BALLROOM facility can handle 3 separate dance parties at the same time.   In addition to the ergonomically designed cushioned floors, each of the 3 ballrooms has its own professional computer controlled acoustic sound system, professional theater style lighting, and plasma video monitors & projection screens that enhance the experience and mood of the intimate club-style ambience.  There is plenty of seating to relax between dances on the custom-made cushioned chairs with shoe shelves underneath, or at the charming café tables that line the dance floor.
